By the top of Spirit Mountain’s fiscal yr this September, the power could have lost $1.7 million over five years. Based mostly on its financial statements and working finances, the ski hill might have proven a profit if it operated solely in the course of the winter months.

St. Louis County’s freeway maintenance staff have rejected a contract proposal and approved their negotiating group to name a strike. The 222 members of the Freeway Maintenance Division do all street upkeep on roughly 3,200 miles of county roads.

The Grant Faculty Collaborative has did not get funding from the state to help create a group faculty on the East Hillside campus. The group had applied for a $1.5 million grant to build a gymnasium and an early childhood improvement wing.
