Vermont Gov. Phil Scott has announced $one hundred,000 in grants to two communities for outside recreation.
Randolph will obtain $sixty five,000 to advertise events and design trails, and Newport will receive $35,000 for a trail-related undertaking as a part of the town’s waterfront recreation trail.
The grants are administered via the Vermont Outside Recreation Economic Collaborative.
Scott says the program helps make main recreation tasks attainable for communities with help from native specialists.
