STARK COUNTY, Ohio — A truck driver sustained minor injuries Friday morning when his tractor-trailer crashed and overturned, spilling hundreds of chickens the car was carrying everywhere in the street.
The crash occurred just after 5:30 a.m. on the eastbound aspect of US-30 close to Pigeon Run Street.
In accordance with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the truck went off the left aspect of the street, hit a guardrail and overturned. The truck was transporting hundreds of chickens.
The sixty two-yr-previous driver sustained minor accidents within the crash. He was handled on scene by EMS and released, authorities stated.
Crews closed down US-30 for several hours while the crash was cleaned up.
OSHP stated alcohol shouldn’t be a factor in the crash. The cause of the crash continues to be beneath investigation.
