Steve Martin could not be happier about his latest ebook and concerning the probability to work with New Yorker artist Harry Bliss.
Celadon Books introduced Monday that Martin and Bliss have been collaborating on the “final cartoon guide,” at present untitled. It is scheduled for next yr.
Martin, whose earlier books embrace the novel “Shopgirl” and the memoir “Born Standing Up,” praised Bliss as a cartoonist he “deeply” admires and “have never met.” Apart from his magazine work, Bliss has illustrated books by Kate DiCamillo and William Steig among others. He and Martin plan to create “unique, never-before-seen cartoons,” in accordance with Celadon.
