Yankees’ Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton to rehab together in Triple-A


CHICAGO — Yankees slugger Aaron Decide is about to hitch Giancarlo Stanton on a rehab task with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The Yankees announced Decide would start his task Friday night time. Additionally they transferred Stanton’s rehab from Class A Tampa to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Decide would be the designated hitter and bat leadoff for the RailRiders’ recreation towards host Durham on Friday night time, while Stanton will play rightfield and bat second. 

Decide, the 2017 AL Rookie of the Yr and a two-time All-Star, has been sidelined since April 20 because of a strained left indirect. Stanton, the 2017 NL MVP, has not played for the Yankees since March 31 because of biceps, shoulder and calf accidents.

Supervisor Aaron Boone has stated Stanton might be activated earlier than Tuesday’s residence recreation towards Tampa Bay if he will get by means of this weekend with no problems. But Decide in all probability would wish just a little longer stint with the Triple-A membership.
